  1. You can buy rubber-plastic belly bars to keep in during pregnancy, and they just mould with your belly. I took my bbr out at 6 months, but the hole stayed open. It did stretch out a fair bit though and the skin did tear slightly, but I was able to put the ring back in straight after I had given birth.

  2. I left mine in and I got stretch marks around it.. they stretch out in four directions like a little star. I think they started to show about 30 weeks in. I never took it out because after i got the stretch marrks i figured i might as well keep it in as taking it out wouldnt make them go away.

Everything is back to normal now. The hole is fine, intact. Ofcause the stretch marks remain but have faded.

  3. i took mine out as my belly got too big and i just left it until i had my bub. then when i was having a warm shower i pushed it back in, if you have a bit of trouble push through the other side of the hole as well. i've taken mine out 3 times for my pregnancies and it is fine.

  4. it stretches into a huge stretch mark even if you leave it in (i tried that but it got to the point where i thought it might actually pop out). *sighs* i used to love my belly button ring... now my stomach looks like somene took a razor to it ;(

  5. i took mine out when i was 6months and i couldn't get i back in so I'm left with 2 holes

  6. I have a belly ring and my daughter is 18 months. I bought a plastic stud to go through the hole in the last few weeks of pregnancy, but apart from that I wore my usual ring throughout. I put the ring back in about 3 weeks after birth and have had no problems. It looks the same!

  7. The skin above the hole stretches and thins out and can eventually just tear open. I intended to keep mine in but had to take it out at 8 months  because the skin was sooooooo thin and the bar was just about pushed out. The hole stays the same but you get a scar from the top to the bottom of the hole, or at least I did
