What will happen to the soccer match if all of a sudden the referee collapses on the pitch and dies?

What will happen to the soccer match if all of a sudden the referee collapses on the pitch and dies?

Although this thing is impossible(!) but if that happenns the fourth referee will be joining the game and the match continues.

One would hope in respect of the ref' that the match be stopped and postponed.

Or failing that bring out a new one and let the game commence, ye har.

The game would be stopped and played again at another time. But if a referee is only injured then the game will continue with another referee. But I'm sure no one would want those irritating morons that never get decisions right to die. Hmmm.

well knowing how crazy soccer fans are I am sure there would be a riot and if not that they would probably have a new ref come in and continue the match so there is no riot

Well you would hope they call the game and show some respect.  But if that is not the case than the back up comes on.  They plan for this in any professional venue.
