  1. Jak sie masz! My name Borat. Yes! And they add one more day to balut number for example 16 + 1. Great success!

  2. The balut vendor will consume it himself, while it is still at its best form.  No way you can reboil it and sell the next day.  Balut eaters know the "reboiled ones".  So sell it all out or consume the unsold.

  3. i think they heat it again until it is sold. i just don't have any idea what the quality of the meat is after several days. We used to store balut in the fridge and heat it in the microwave oven when needed. I remember one incident on how heating balut could turn one's arm black and blue. Here's the link.

  4. well, since balut has chicks, I guess the chicks will eventually tap-tap the shell and they'd begin walking the next morning... leaving the balut vendor wondering whatever happened to his unsold balut!

  5. Jongbong, my good friend, I'll let you in on a highly classified trade secret :

The unsold balut is mashed, deep fried with loads of pepper and soy sauce [to hide any unsavoury odour !], and used as toppings in high-priced 'exotic' pizzas, sold in 'speciality' restaurants !

    :-)

  6. reheat and sell again........

  7. No they throw them at jeepneys without an exhaust system.

  8. i eat it

  9. maybe....they also make it into a bigger version of "kwek-kwek" or "tukneneng"

    *nakakagugutom....

  10. They are exported to the West Coast to be sold at swap meets for Easter egghunting.

  11. nope, they send it to jongbong's house for pulutan.

  12. it gets to live another day.
