What will happen when I fill the mixed unleaded fuel with oil?

My friend told me that he confused to to fill his car with the fuel that uses for his lawn mower coz he ran out of gas. That unleaded fuel was fixed with oil. What will happen to his car?

As long as he only put a gallon or so in, the car will actually run smoother and get better mileage, but it's not recommended to make a habit of this.   It's best to fill it to the top with good gasoline ASAP to dilute the oil mixture, but it will be fine.

It will be fine and wont cause any problems just fill up with reg gas  when you can................UJN

If enough it could fowl the cat= converter> 02 sensors will code> smoke and run bad> Best fill with gas asap or issues Will happen>

Nothing really, it may smoke a little until that fuel burns through but it shouldn't hurt at all. try to be more careful next time.

YOU STOLE THE LAWN MOWER'S FUEL? CURSES!!!!!

no big deal this time! A fuel/oil mixture is intended for a  two cycle engine. there is no oil system for lube purposes.Cars on the other hand has a system for this and uses a four cycle engine. the only problem is that oil had to pass through the fuel system to get to the combustion chamber.[spark plug]

   the mixed fuel would have a lower octane content but that was not noticed. when oil burn it emits black smoke because of the burning in the combustion chamber. It also leaves behind carbon residue that can build up in the chamber and deposit onto the tip of the spark plugs.

  Now that i have scared the h**l out of you listen closely::::

the morrow of the story is, STOP stealing contaminated fuel, use the, "drive off fast at the service station system''

   that is just as responsible. get a can of fuel system cleaner or maybe not, just don't do it any more!

EDIT: I read the the other comments , "RUN SMOTHER"?  YEAH, like a weed eater and chainsaw,gas blowers. those are two cycle engines burning oil. IF SO:: the automotive industry would install oil burners on all our cars!!
