What will happen when the Galactic Alignment takes place?

Having heard about all the things that could happen in 2012, including a Galactic Alignment, and some other prophecies about 2012, I would like to know what will happen in this planet if all the things will happen altogether? Too much confusion about what is real and fake...

To remove your confusion.  Whatever you heard about some "galactic alignment" is FAKE.  

Sure a few planets can align every now and then, but there is zero probability that all objects in the galaxy could align.

The idea of a galactic alignment is meaningless. The Sun, in its annual circuit of the sky, as seen from Earth, appears to pass across the Milky Way galaxy every year in June and December. The 2012 cranks have yet to explain how this phenomenon is different in 2012 from any other year. Some of the cranks confuse this with the motion of the whole solar system around the galaxy. We are currently above the central plane and won't pass through it for 30 million years or so.

This, like all the other phenomena they have put together for 2012, is pure fakery. There shouldn't be too much confusion about it because nothing will happen.

The Earth and Sun line up with the galactic center (approximately) every December. Not just in 2012, but every year. So I really don't know what is supposed to be special about 2012, other than the claim that the Mayan calendar ends that year, which has nothing at all to do with the galaxy anyway.

Take heed but fear not for 2012 is just the revealing of the 'antichrist' or the 'man of lawlessness' at the middle of what Jews and Christians call the 7 year Tribulation. Well in some way it will effect it, for one the galactic Alignment will pull gravitational ways to the planet and the solar system for the solar system goes up and down the Galactic Alignment. So in some way there will be an effect of how the pull or gravity from the galactic alignment. Like volcanoes, earthquakes, and melting glaciers. Like the theory of the moon covering the sun over it, will cause volcanoes and earthquakes, it was proven in parts, but people still speculate. And this will be strenthen when the galactic alignment occurs. Hope it helps.

As for all the other nonsense about 2012...

It is just a myth which mysteriously propagates (mostly because of the History Channel and YouTube)

The Mayan culture/society/way of life is long since dead

Therefore as an end to "the world" 2012 was a wildly optimistic estimate for them!

And anyway – that is the wrong interpretation of the whole calander thing – it’s just the end of a cycle. And since calendars are based on astronomical motions of one kind or another, they are inherently cyclic. Our western calendar ends on December 31st every year!

Planet X/Nibiru does not exist. If it did we would have found it by now. We have mapped the sky in the infrared several times in the last 25 years (including WMAP, IRAS etc), and it would show up. It is not there. We would have found it if it existed. So all the nonsense about the return of Nibiru/Planet X is just that – nonsense

Furthermore, at the distance it must be to hit us in a little over 4 years, it would be reflecting enough light from the sun to be detectable.

Thanx to previous question from Brant and answer from bikenbeer2000, we know how bright it should be by now – it would have a apparent magnitude of 7.4 – which would not be visible with the naked eye – but easily visible in a modest telescope and would have been spotted by amateur. If there was a conspiracy to keep it quiet – it would be out of the bag by now.

Ask someone where it is supposed to be, get a pair of binoculars and look for it.

The videos on YouTube that purport to have evidence are disingenuous to say the least. They put together pictures of other objects (e.g. Jupiter, comets even a dust shell around a distant red giant star) and try to scare people. There is no validity to their claims. They present NO EVIDENCE at all.

As for the predicted catastrophes – the most popular one seems to be the Pole Shift!

The sun will have a pole reversal that year – it has one every 11 years – it is not a problem.

The earth’s magnetic field is less predictable –

but is still nothing to worry about: we know that the magnetic field does not collapse in the process of reversing polarity- if it did, there would be major extinctions that correlate with the geologic record for pole reversals - there is no correlation.

Excellent question but I think this is the unknown zone? For many years many scientist believed the earth was flat and they cunningly deceived many into BELIEVING this theory. Back in the early 80's they were talking on the radio--this still being the Cold War-- of World War III, and how Nostradamus and others had predicted it would take place before the year 2000 and hundreds of millions would be killed. When I heard it, initially I was afraid. But having become a believer a few years prior I soon realized that Jesus is in control and I will trust in him, not false prophecies.

The Earth will continue to spin around the Sun just like it has for the last 4.7 billion years. When the world doesn't end in 2012, all the doomsayers will blame it on some vast government cover up and set a new date for destruction.
