What will happen with Stumpel after he's bought out? Will he retire or sign with another team?

Stumpel was placed on waivers the other day by the panthers, in the intention of being bought out. Will he, at 35, decide to retire, or will he re-sign with another team? And if he does, how successful will he be?

he can only re-sign if another team wants him, so i guess we have to wait and see

I  would like some clarity please. Are you saying if he is not claimed off waivers that then Florida is going to just buy him out?  With just being on waivers is not the same as a buy out, though will still be responsible for a certain amount of his salary.
