Question is... what is the fate of my friend? She was wearing a seatbelt, 4 kids in vehicle - 16 yrs and possilbe above not wearing seatbelts. 1 kid in front seat extracted from car and all badly wounded. They were hit by a drunk driver in GA. We're very sad and worried. All will be ok soon.

Much will depend on the combined speed of both vehicles at the time of impact...The next day or two will be very crucial...I know in GA that they have the very best medical care for these types of injuries...It is a helpless feeling to wait to see if our friends are going to be OK...And if they are, will they be the same as they were before?..The only thing we can do is pray and try not to ask about the why's and if's...You weren't even involved in the mishap and see how it is affecting you...These things are devastating.

Strange how we don't think about "crash test ratings" at times like this.

There are no words to take away the pain and sorrow...Just know that you are not alone...All the best.

I cant say what the outcome will be but what you need to do is be optimistic and supportive, things have a way of working out even when it looks bad at times...............
