What will happen to properties owned by parents who passed away but were not able to leave Last Will and Testament and neglected to transfer these properties to their children? Will the government take these properties from their children? How can they take their parents properties back if so?

  1. If there's no legal Will, those Properties will be turned over to the State -to decide IF & WHO gets WHAT, WHY, When, & How...

  2. If you parents die intestate (without a will) you need to go to the Court to have the deeds signed over to you.  this is how it works in England.  my Mom died without a will and I had to go to court to sign an affidavit that there was no other claimant.

Depending on the cost of the property you might have to pay death duty

See a lawyer so you don't get sc***ed

  3. Everything will go into probate after all liens and bills are paid the rest will go to the child or children.  If the parents own a home or other properties these will be put up for sale and the profits split between the children.  That is how it's done in America how it's done in other countries I have no idea.
