I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow ... what do you think he will do next??? I have never heard of anyone on 150mg Clomid. I'm really nervous ... Oh I also have PCOS

  1. This may be a dumb ? to ask but you didn't say if it was done or not but....Have they tested your SO's sperm count? If not you may want to find out about doing that first before doing anything more invasive on you. I know this is probably something everyone is telling you but....try to be as relaxed as possible through all of this it took my hubby & I a looong time before we got pregnant. They wanted to put me on Clomid but I ended up losing about 40 lbs and then got prego w/ boy #1. We also had his "guys" checked before we went any further with me. Good Luck!

  2. if you have PCOS, your doctor might add Metformin to your dose of Clomid and maybe increase your Clomid dose as well, you can also ask a fertility specialist online for free for advice, and find others with PCOS going through this situation, try fertilityties.com

    good luck!!!

  3. Hi,

Yes, it is perfectly normal for people to move up to 150 mg of clomid. actually, most people do end up having to take it. even 200 mg is safe.  dont worry.  if 100mg isnt working for you, 150 mg is lpretty likely to work since you did ovulate once on only 50mg.  dont give up hope!  good luck!
