Sour things like lemoneade and sour patch kids will get things moving and flowing and should clear out the gland. I just took my son to the doc for this last week and that's what he suggested. My son was excited (he's not quite 5 yet) that he was allowed to eat candy on doctor's orders!! lol

i worked with a girl that had that problem. they told her she would have to have surgery to take it out. she had a date made and everything , then went swimming in a chlorinated pool and it healed on its own.
