  1. Every time it goes near or in your closet or near your plant

spray it with a water bottle and say no bad kitty.Because

cat's hate water so do it every time she goes in or near your closet .Another idea is 2 get a horn and blow it every time it

goes near or in your closet or near your plant.

  2. Just try to keep your closet closed and maybe he will stay out of the closet.

  3. keep the door closed, the reason he wants to go in there, is because it's a place he doesn't have access to all the time probably and given the opportunity he jumps into it.

As for the houseplants, I put tape across the pots, cats hate tape...you have to reverse the tape or use double sided tape...He won't like it and will avoid it, I assure you.

  4. Just close the closet door and keep it closed.  When you need to get something out of it, he will try to jump in, so be sure to check that he's not inside it when you close the door again.  He is trying to find a place that is quiet and dark, and if the closet isn't available, then he might go under the bed.  They like to have privacy and hide away once in a while.  As for houseplants, they can be prone to chewing on them and it can be hard habit to break.  Be sure to check the type of plant, as some of them can harm cats, so move them up of the way, or maybe get some cat grass, which they often use as a substitute.    Attached is some information about cat grass.

  5. house plants, well you will have to do away with the real ones and get fake ones, as far as your closet goes, have you tried just keeping the door closed? also you can use a bowl of  orange peels and lemon peels grapefruit peels, lime peels any citrus peel,  cats hate the smell of citrus,

  6. Bitter Apple spray works on some animals, but then again some animals actually enjoy the taste.

I have also heard that some cats hate the smell of citrus, orange, lemon ect.

Whenever you catch him in the act you could always give him a squirt with the squirt bottle.
