What will help me get motivation to finish my paper?

I have a report due in 2 weeks and every time I try to work on it i get little done and I do something else.

For Example... I worked on my paper for maybe 30 minutes and I got a little done because I was Looking at a video, watching T.V, feel asleep, Simply got bored of it, or etc. and then I spend the whole day distracting myself from my paper. If this keeps up I won't be able to finish my work. Help me!

I think I have no motivation to work on it and I am easily distracted! How can I get some motivation to work on it and How can I not get distracted?

The mind can really only focus on any subject with vigor for about 30 -45 minutes. If you make a planned schedule to take a break every 30 minutes ... eat a snack, do some quick cardio like jumping jacks, then get back to work for another 30 minutes. Eat lunch take a short break and back to work. If this is a project you can work on with another person attempting to accomplish the same task then it might help to chose a partner who won't let you mess around. Still take your 10 or 15 minute breaks to have a bite to eat, stretch and exercise and go back to work.

Writing your goal down on paper is important and you don't have to finish it all in one day ... decide how much time you have to do it in and break it up over the course of a few days. If you work better with a deadline ... move it up ... Your report is Due Tomorrow! ... write it in erasable marker on a mirror that you look at every morning when you wake up and every night when you go to bed.

List at least 10 positive things that will come from completing your assignment earlier rather then later these will help motivate you as well.

Last but not least ... if you still can't get your butt in gear ... recruit some body who doesn't mind smacking you with a ruler when you get distracted. I'd do it for you. I love to beat people who aren't doing their job in a proficient orderly and timely fascion.

Listen to music while you write your paper. Listen to music that pumps you up!!

well turn off and unplugg all possible distractions even turn off ur phones and then get ur mp3 or a cd player with at least an hours worth of your favorite songs and just write... music is all the inspiration u'll need belive me
