What will humans look like in 1 thousand years...or will we still be alive

we humans still exist in 1 thousand years???

if so then what will we look like?????????

i think humans will be the same if no genetic modifications or no evolution takes place in 1000 years and if sumthin of this sort happened nobody can ever imagine wt humans are gonna look like...........

Biologically, with no meddling with our DNA,

Human would pretty much look like they did 1000 years ago, like they do today.

But, when you throw technology into the mix?

With advances in genetics, who can say?

1000 years is an extremely short time on an evolutionary timescale, especially with a generation length of around 20 years (which means you're talking about 50 generations if everyone has children on average at 20 years old).  

Taking into account that humans have become great at controlling their environments (and therefore reducing selective pressures), there's not much reason to expect a major change.  Of course, c**p happens.  If a major problem arises next week that renders all our advances in technology useless, and we're living as nomads, those pressures could get more severe, but it's still a very short time for any significant change.

According to some predictions, no. We won't even exist, only squids will, but this is a far fetched theory. Biologically we will not look the same, because there will be spontaneous mutations.

  Humans won't change much in their lifetime.

  I think technological societies like ours are fairly short lived likely a maximum of about 350 to 500 years.

  We have already gone through 100 years of our life.
