  1. lol my neighbor has a huge one and ive actually held it b4 very calm it just was moving on my back and shoulders never tried to constrict even though i was trying to take him off

  2. Run!

  3. Tell her that the average size of a ball python is only about five foot ....and um unless your neighbor is a rat...she has no reason to worry.

Explain to her the difference in ball pythons who only reach about 6 at most and say a reticulated python that can get about 28 foot.....then she might not mind so much...if she still has a problem......get a retic!!! ;))))) Also balls are usually very docile anyway...your neighbor is in panic mode!

  4. i wont constrict u unless u dont use proper handling.

  5. if its around ur neck, take a deep breath and walk to the kitchen and grab a knife.

For real though, you should never get into that situation with proper snake handling procedures.

  6. You do realize that a full grown ball python probably couldn't even kill a large cat, right. You are stronger then that snake at it's biggest. You would just unwrap the snake from your arm or leg or whatever.

  7. Why would you stab or pour liquor on your pet?

With basic knowledge of how to handle a constrictor, then you should know never to allow a snake to make partial loops or even get too close to your neck. Some people do allow it, but only in the presence of another handler who can easily unwind the snake in case of accidents. If your snake constricts another body part, like an arm, simply grasp the tail firm but gently and begin to pry off the snake. The less you panic, the more likely it is that the snake will let go on its own once it realizes you are not food.

I've never had any snake try to constrict my neck when draped over the shoulders. I simply place a hand on the tail and the other one a few inches down the neck, you'll usually react faster and remove the pet.

  8. Go to the kitchen & make a sandwich & then find a comfortable chair & eat the sandwich. By this time your 3ft ball python should be tired & ready to be put back into it's pen. There's never been a ball python born that ever got big enough to harm a healthy human being.

  9. Simply, you will die... unless you have a knife handy and you can get your arms free to kill it

  10. Okay Ball Pythons aren't that large i've had one try to constrict my arm and I simply pulled it off and I'm a woman and 5'3"

Yes they are strong but really I didn't have a problem getting it off if it was a larger snake You'd be in trouble.

  11. if it does make shour you have a penknife or if its a baby and you have time call the police and say make i quick im dying

  12. I saw on the animal planet that if a constrictor attacks you the best thing you can do is to pour liquor on the snakes face. The alcohol will irritate the eyes and nasal cavity which will cause the snake to let go of you.

PS Good luck with never getting bit. Just be careful and remember that it may seem slow and safe, but snakes are dangerous predators and even if they were brought up in captivity, they are still wild animals.
