  1. warm her bottom

  2. You should try your best to avoid punishing her physically. Try to first pressurize her by simple methods. For example, tell her that you can't see TV, you can't play, you won't get food, mummy will not talk with you etc. And if she don't listens you with this all then pressurize her economically. Say her that you won't get pocket money. And after that, slap her and apply all of the above penalties as well. Remember that only this is the age where you can pressurize her and create your visible pressure on her. Once she get elder, you can't do that.

  3. Make her do it. You are the parent, stop pretending as if this is something she can actually refuse to do. Take away everything until it is done. Make her do it once she gets home from school. Do whatever works. But do make sure to find out why  she does not want to her homework? find out if she needs help. Schedule tutoring time if needed.

  4. Tell her that if she doesnt do homework, she wont get good grades. If she doesnt get good grades, she wont go to college. If she doesnt go to college, she'll be stuck working at McDonlads and smelling like french fries every day of her life making minimum wage.

  5. sit her down and make her. no tv, no toys, no playing, no dinner, untill she is done.

  6. Talk to her teacher.

She is probably burnt out.  Think about it-she spends 7 or so hours a day in school, and is sent home with more work to do at home (sometimes several hours worth).

Homework leaves children with little time for free play, extra curricular activities and most imporantly, quality family time.

I would ask the purpose of the homework, and unless it is to complete work she did not do in class, I do not find it to be necessary.

  7. Home work sucks. Lol

No but she does need to do her home work. I didn't do my home work and didn't get my diploma. I was home schooling and never did my school work now I wish I had done it.

  8. Nice looking on the friend add. You dont allow instant messages. IM me kevdabomb2000@yahoo.com

  9. SPANK HER

  10. Most kids don't WANT to do their homework, just like we don't WANT to get up and go to work.  That's not the point though.  You do it to get it over with and move on.  You're the parent, so you make that happen.  Would this be the first time your daughter has ever not wanted to do something you made her do?  How have you handled it in the past?

  11. tell her she cant call/hang out with friends untill she does it.

and if she does sports or something she wont go to that practice untill it is done.

    stuff like that.

  12. Explain to her that homework is part of her duties as a student and necessary for her to get decent grades in school. Set a fixed time in the afternoon that is reserved for homework - no TV or computer or playtime before homework is finished and she has shown it to you to your satisfaction. The trick is to be consistent and not to allow for exceptions for a certain time (say, a month or two). If you have managed to do so, doing homework will have become a routine for the girl.

  13. Maybe you should try to find out the reason why she doesnt like to do it.  Maybe shes having a bit of trouble. You dont say how old she is? My son never like his and then I found out he couldn't understand the questions. I explained how to work different problems out in a different way and now he tends to do it without any problems.

If that's got nothing to do with it than you should tell her she will not be doing (her favourite after school thing)  until her homework is done.

And be firm dont give in to her whinging

  14. Depends on her age.  If she is young, like under ten than if you've asked her several times and tried to explain why she should and she still isn't listening, than you should give her a good spanking of 4-5 hard swats on her butt with your hand.  If she refuses aftewards, spank her again.  If she is older, as in ten or above than not letting her see her friends or do anything she likes to do until her homework is complete would be a more effective way.

  15. Tell her teacher and let him/her deal with it. A child will get easily frightened of their teacher moreso than they would of a parent lol.

  16. All I can say is PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not help her with English.

I mean "what will i do if my daughter don't want"... for one you need to capitalize W and I and for another its doesn't not don't.

But back to the actual question. You should set up a rewards system. Like if she doesn't all her homework for a week then she gets something else in return. Or you could make it, if she doesn't all her homework for a month then she gets something.

However you want to set it up. That way she wants to do her homework so she can get that reward. Everyone is happy.
