Question:

What will i eat and do before my 1.5mile run?

i am doing a 1.5 mile run on a treadmill tomorrow to determind if i am going to be a royal marine i was to be in tip top shape for my eating and my fluds but what fluids?...powerade?..lucozade?..water...... early should i eat?...sandwich if so what one?

  1. I'd have some porridge with chopped banana and drizzled honey for breakfast, at least an hour and a half before the run.

    (I always eat that before races )

    Also, drink PLENTY of WATER  the DAY BEFORE and also maybe have a lucozade before you run (at least an hour before) so your sugar levels are up.

  2. Carb-load. Eat lots of carbs tonight and early tomorrow. Also, remember PROPER hydration. But, don't eat anything  too close to your run.

  3. anything healthy: low non-natural sugars and salts along with water

  4. obviously dont eat too close to the run(within an hour)

    for foods i would stay simple, oatmeal, nuts, bananas.

    i wouldnt drink anything but water but you may have people telling you to go with other stuff..
