it kinda depends on which school you go to but i had Algebra 1, Civics/ecomonics, Physical Science, English 8, PE, and we got 2 semester choices and i picked Advance Tech Tools(1/2 year), Drama(1/2year), and Home Ec(whole year)

Depends on where you go

math I can't really tell you about

social studies: I learned maps, africa and asia, world war 2, russia and communism, the holocaust and other world history topics

language arts; we just read books and learned new vocabulary

science: was mostly experiments and learning about soulbility, melting point, freezing point and stuff like that

for math : i took a math A course for regents(ny only) that summed up basically all algebra, geometry, inequalities,trignometry, graphing, and other stuff...

social studies- colonial america all the way to the 1970's

lang/arts or reading - we didnt really learn a lot because we were focusing mainly on math a and earth science regents... but we did simple stuff like parts of speech ( in the beginning) and vocabulary the rest of the time. we also studied poems.

science- earth science, solar system... etc.

Hey, thats a very good question lol, the subjects vary for each grade depending on where you live in the world, but you will probably have math, geography, science, art, english, computers, phys ed, aka gym, and health.

I was an 8th grader as well, so i think i have a clear and vivid memory!
