  1. WELL IF YOU ARE REPLACING YOUR HARD DRIVE YOU PROBABLY WILL LOSE ALL YOUR STORED DOCUMENTS BECAUSE UR HARD DRIVE IS WHERE EVERYTHING IS STORED. THE BEST THING TO DO IS GO TO A COMPUTER SHOP AND YOU CAN SAVE YOUR INFORMATION ON SOMETHING THAT IS IN YOUR COMPUTER IT IS GREEN AND THAT WILL STORE INFORMATION... OR IF YOU HAVE PICTURES OR SCHOOL INFORMATION OR STUFF LIKE THAT U COULD GET A JUMP DRIVE WITH AS MUCH NEEDED SPACE THAT U NEED OR MORE

  2. You will lose everything.  Make backups of everything you want to keep.

You really don't have to replace the drive. Format the one you have to wipe everything out and reload, starting with the operating system and continuing with all of the drivers and other software.

  3. If you replace your hard drive you will lose everything and you will have to reinstall windows.

  4. source code ram bios etc...

  5. Sadly, you will lose everything. Couple months ago my hard drive in my laptop crashed and I had to get a new one. Needless to say if you have a warranty the company can send you another free of charge and everything will be installed. It will be like buying a new computer and all you will have to do is re-download stuff you put on there.
