  1. maybe a couple of ibuprofen. But if you have a tooth problem it will not go away on its own.

  2. You have a cavity if you don't go to the dentist in time they will remove that tooth.

it cost under a $150 to fix a cavity..

  3. Orajel usually works well and for some reason baby Orajel works better than adult.  If it is so bad that Orajel is not getting it then it probably is infected (abscessed) and you are going to need antibiotics for that.    You can try an immune system booster like Echenacea but that takes time and doesn't work for everyone tho it often did for me.  Check in your area for free or low cost clinics (call the health dept and the welfare dept) if need be go to the ER and arrange to pay a little at a time.   A medical dr can prescribe antibiotics if you have insurance to cover that like for an earache and infection.   The tooth does need dental care but you have to get rid of the infection before a dentist can work on it so start with that.

Grandma used to say that boiling a clove till soft and putting it in/on the cavity or hurting place would kill the nerve.  I've tried it and it does.   The pain is enough to make you think the top is about to come off your head but it doesn't hurt again.  However that doesn't really solve the problem because you still have the infection and the infection can spread to your ear, your throat, sinuses or all through your system.   It is a lot better to go get the infection taken care of.

  4. ORAJEL you can find it in any drug store. It helps numbs the pain. and its only 3 bucks.

  5. Some kind of pain pill, chewing gum, putting a strong alcohol on it, going to sleep until the pain wakes you up. Eventually you will need to see a dentist. I sympathize with you. Toothaches are the worse! Rinse it with Listerine if possible take a night time sleeping pain reliever and sleep it off. Don't eat on it when you awake!

  6. If your tooth is decayed and/or there is infection, you really need to get it fixed.  Infection can be dangerous, and it is in your head.  If you can afford a check-up, at least a dentist could tell you what you would be looking at to fix it.  Chewing cloves might help ease the pain, but maybe getting it fixed or pulled out is the only way to stop the pain (don' know, but maybe it would not be too expensive to pull out if it is a back one that you can afford losing, and maybe a filling is not as expensive as you think, or the dentist has a payment plan).  Good luck.
