Question:

What will make nervousness go away?

i start school monday , and my stomach is bothering me out of nervousness. i guess im afraid of having a class with people who i dont know, but still...is there anyway to get rid of that feeling?

    i know what u mean

    every year when school wants to start i just get nervouse

    and i will be nervouse this year too. school will start sept. 2 but i am already worrying about it. But i'm thankful it's not my freshman year and i have passed that. Bc thats when i was nervouse the most. So poor freshies, they must be freaking out

    but just think of it this way. Everyone is probably as nervouse as u r. ur friends and the people who will be in ur class. everyone is and everyone thinks the same way and worries. Have u read the questions on here? Like. "what should i wear on the first day of school?" or "Ohhh myyyyy i need to loose wieght" rofl

    and do me a favor have u seen Benny and Joon? nothing to do with this question but it will make u laugh and get ur mind off of this whole worry thing.

    i go to this site and i watch any movies i want and entertain myslef with.

  3. Try deep breathing. In through your nose, and out through your mouth.

    Try positive thinking: "Everything is going to be fine, I will make new friends..."

    I am in the same situation as you are currently, and I know it is tough! (but then again, I do have a general anxiety disorder, so EVERYTHING is much more hard for me)

    I just try to push through the nervousness.

    When you are afraid of eating alone in the cafeteria, force yourself to ask a single person if you could sit with them...

    when you go into a classroom and don't know anyone there, FORCE yourself to sit NEXT to someone- and NOT in the back of the room!

    It is difficult to push through nervousness and anxiety, but if you remain positive, you can push through anything!

    also-- try peppermints, or mints of any kind, or even gum...chewing on something, or the mint flavor helps to ease your stomach.  

  4. uhhh thats nothing lol. Sorry. Try getting on a football field with 15-20,000 people watching you, thats what makes your stomach spin.

    Anyways, you just need to relax, watch some good movies, go out, do something with your friends. If your high school, well its just high school


  5. i started school this monday.

    what i did is try not to think about it (as hard as that sounds)

    and in the morning i texted my friends and we planned to arrive around the same time so one of us wouldnt show up by ourselves.

  6. Take a deep breath and relax.  Repeat again, and again, and again.  Repeat again if needed.

  8. Knowing that you are unique.  That when moms make a birthday suit the pattern cannot be duplicated.  You are the best of the best.  Never forget that..Happy future.  

  9. Swallow a live frog 1st thing in the morning. After that your day can only get better.
