Ok so I want to get a big boost on my GPA so I can be higher on my class rank (I blew off freshman and sophomore year, bad move). I will be a senior this year.

AP classes = 5.0

Honors = 4.5(used to be 5.0 also, but everything is changing this year)

Normal = 4.0

Something else that is making me mad is (wish they had done it before) that there is no longer an A- but it is only an A (100-90 percent), B is 80-89, etc.

Here are my classes, assume I get an A in all of them.

AP physics C

AP calculus BC

AP chemistry

AP gov't

English 4

Global gourmet/advanced computer skills

My current cumulative GPA (out of 5.0) is 3.7

If I get an A in every class, will I get at least a 4.1 gpa by end of 1st semester?

  1. if you're so smart, figure it out..lol j/k, don't they award extra points if it's an AP class? So I would think if you got an A in all of them, you'd boost your GPA to at least a 4.1, but of course I can't be all mathematical about it or anything, that's just a guess.

  2. yeah you will have a higher than a 4.1 if you get straight A's

    i got you at a 4.15

  3. You will have a 4.17 by the end of this semester
