I have been miscarrying since Sunday, does anyone know what type of discharge I should be looking for. I am 9 weeks, but the baby only measures about 6. Any ideas on what I should be looking for and what colors?

  1. I'm so sorry sweetie, I have been in your shoes before. When it happened to me it was mainly just a lot of blood clots. You should call your doctor to see exactly what to expect, they are all kind of different, depending on how far along you are. God bless you.

  2. It should be bright red, if it comes.

    I'm so sorry for your loss. x x x x x

  3. You'll see alot of bleeding with some heavy clotting, fading to brown spotting.

Please make sure your gynecologist checks to make sure that everything passed, because you could wind up with a nasty, even life threatening infection.

Even though it's been quite a few years ago, I still remember the emotional pain I went through when I miscarried my first pregnancy. It was horrible for me. My heart and my prayers go out to you, Hun.

I don't know if it will be any comfort to you to know this, but since then I've had several healthy kids, now all grown up with babies of their own. Hun, if I could do this nearly 40 years ago, with all the advances in medical technology there's been since, you can certainly have healthy kids, too.

    =^_^=

  4. IT will mostly be red blood with clots maybe some brown. It will not really have any form, just clots of tissue. Your doctor may want to check to make sure you pass everything so you don't get an infection. Sorry for your loss!

  5. I'm sorry for your loss.

I had a miscarriage at 7 weeks and I had clots and heavy bleeding. It was sort of dark red - the fetus is so small you won't really see anything.

  6. when i had a miscarriage i had alto of blood then a biggish clot came out and its like really bloody but vainy lol sorry but only way i can explain it and then after that my flow was calming down and then after i got a bit of dicarge but it was nomle disgorgeu should also have a scan after youmiscarryy to make sure everything has removed from you and make sure its not eptopic

  7. I am so sorry for your loss.  You will have a lot of blood, but the fetus itself will only be about the size of a grain of rice at this point so you may not see or feel anything when it is expelled.

  8. I too am sorry for your loss.

I have had 3 miscarriages, one at 6 months.

What it said about clotting, bleeding, even spotting with ectopic pregnancies (I had one) is all natural sad occurrences.

And the other one I had, I was already in hospital after the father severely beat up on me, when they told me my child had died through it all too.

Problem was with that loss, I still had high pregnancy hormones.. as they believed although she was passed, still part of her remained to the lining of my uterus.

So it is quite important and wise to see a doctor, and have a D&C.

I have just said a little prayer for you, and the baby, who is in their Heavenly Fathers arms*

  9. Well I too had 2 miscarriages.... I had a lot of bleeding and clots being passed... they always associate it with severe cramping but I never had the pains

  10. every miscarriage is different i had one in april that gave me loads of pains and light bleeding for a week before it expelled then i bled so much i woke up in hospital in a bad way, and the one i had 2 days ago gave me no pain and only light bleeding u may feel the clot expel but keep an eye on your bleeding cos if u bleed too heavy u may need hospital treatment and watch out for any foul smelling blood cos that indicates infection , i am so sorry you are going through this my heart goes out to you x*x
