Lack of knowledge. i truly believe that one day we will experience time travel.

Okay. Time travel back in time is by all means, impossible. It would create a endless paradox and rip the fabric of Time.

However, time travel in the forward direction could be achieved, this would be done by creating a Time Dilation field. A point in space time where Gravity is very strong, as the stronger the gravity, slower time passes by. So if you went near a Black whole, and were able to stay in its gravitation field for mere seconds without being pulled into the singularity and come out alive, you may be hundreds, thousands even millions of years in the future.

The "past" does not physically exist, therefore there's no "past" to which we can travel. Same for the "future."

I think it's not the machine but the human physiology is the great barrier that is going to prevent time travel in the past because such velocity is never going to be pleasant for human boy to sustain.

physics prevent us from traveling in the past.  Just like light travels at the universal maximum velocity, no object with mass can completely reach the speed of light.  Since we can't reach that speed, we can't exceed it, which would be necessary to travel through time in reverse.
