You cannot use anything on granite that is not PH balanced.  That means you cannot use any of the normal cleaners on the market.  Anything harsh will dull it and spot it.  Only special granite cleaners can be used or warm soapy water.  If you have been using anything else, you may have already damaged the stone.  Once a year granite has to be sealed in order to keep it from absorbing the normal water spots or losing its sheen.

  4. Vinegar. For white lime deposit water spots. Vinegar is gentle and should remove them pretty easily.

    You might also want to try either a little window cleaner or viniger diluted with water.
