What will take glued stickers off wood?

When we bought the home, someone put all address stickers on back of bedroom door, we want ot remove them, but with what? After which we will paint the door.

carefully use a heat gun that you would normally use to strip paint...this will soften the glue and allow you to peel away the stickers

Start with water ... if it can be dampened and soaked off that's great.

If thet doesn't work, try "Goof off" or lighter fluid ... soak a patch of stickers and then scrape them off.

It's easiest if you take the door off the hinges and lay it flat on some sawhorses.

It's called Goof Off, or you can use WD 40.
