I read today that the frontrunner is "The Thunder".

I like it, it fits Oklahoma City and it's something I could see the team putting on shirts or jerseys etc. for marketing purposes. Whatever the name is it has to sound good, or who would wear the team merchandise?

I actually think the team should be named The Oklahoma City 89ers - Since the city was founded in 1889, the name was used by a minor league baseball team but is now available..it seems to fit.

Oh, and the team colors should be Crimson, White and Silver.
