  1. Usually around where I live at least, put it on the curb as garbage.

  2. Foreclosures are governed by state law, so there will be some differences depedning upon where you are.  Having said that, generally it will be up to the buyer of the house to get you to move out.  This can take some time to get you out if you don't hand over the keys and leave.  If this is indeed the case in your state, the new owner may pay to move you.

Call them, tell them you are willing to move but can't afford moving expenses.  You need $1000 (or whatever you need) to cover moving expenses, you will leave quickly and try very hard not to do any damage in the process.  They will probably write you a check (with some stipulations) or hire a mover for you.  The worst they can do is tell you to fly a kite.

If you don't take your stuff, they will have to hire someone to move it out, either into a dumpster, to the curb, or to the dump, plus pay the dumping or pickup fees.  They can't sell your personal property, but they can do whatever to get it off their property.

Again it will be the buyer of the property that you deal with.  The bank may end up buying it to make sure it goes for more than the minimum, that would be best case.  They will be very anxious to get you out.

  3. anything of value will go to auction, the rest is curbside shopping.

  4. They can actually do two things. Can either place them out on your front lawn or curbside for trash. Or they can sell it with the house. After your house is forclosed on and you are legally evicted everything in the home becomes the banks property. Most likely you'll find they'll have the house 'purged' and your stuff will be on the curb.

  5. When the crew preps your home for the sale they will clean it out completely, meaning whatever you leave in it. Furniture, Clothing, personal items and so on if any one on the crew wants any of it they will keep it but generally they have so many home in the process right now they just put it all out on the curb. I do some part time work with one of the biggest clean out Companies in our area of Fl, and it is nothing to do 6 homes a day.
