What will the cover be on Madden 2009 now that Brett Favre is on the Jets?

Will they keep the current cover with Favre wearing a Packers jersey, photoshop it so he is wearing a Jets jersey, or change the whole cover altogether?

It's definatly way to late to change it to a Jets jersey. The only reason I could see them changing it is if the contract rights for madden are specific to him playing as a packer or being retired as a packer, if this is the case the Jets are the ones paying him there for he should be wearing their jersey

It's too late now, the game's coming out in less than a week and they're already in the production stage. Maybe later version of the game might have be changed but definitely not the first shipment.

No but I'll tell you this, there are two reasons why it could be valuable and maybe worth money. This addition of Madden is the 20th anniversary and because of Brett Favre's situation

Dude, the games coming out in like, a week.  They can't change it now.

Plus, Favre has NEVER played with the Jets.  He's been a Packer for years, so it makes sense that he'd be wearing a Packers jersey on the cover.

I doubt it. Green Bay is where his legacy is. there is really no point in changing it to the jets now. especially since hehasn'tt played a game with the jets yet. who knows, maybe he'decideide to retire again before the season.

They will keep it the same because the game was finished a couple of months ago they just needed time to mass produce it for world wide shipping and sales. In a month they probally will make a Madden 2.0 or something like that to increase sells.
