  1. We all should be worried about global warming .

The least we can do is to stop wasting natural resources and money

  2. well weather or not you should be worried depends on how you choose to look at it. I am not worried at all because i chose to look at it as a rebirth for Earth. if everything dies then it gives the Earth a break from all of its resources being used before it can make more. with everything trying to evolve back into what it is today or what ever it is when the world ends AS WE KNOW IT not entirely gone the earth will still be here the Earth gets a chance to make more coal, oil, and other resources were running out of. and who knows this could be one whole big cycle that takes billions and billions of years for us but just takes place in one day in a whole other universe?

  3. Yup Global warming is exciting and should not be worried it's a natural cycle you cannot do about it.

  4. The earth would stay the same

  5. OMG yes you should be worried! The earth may heat up one other full degree in your lifetime. And oil will go up to $20 bucks a gallon. Other than that you will notice no difference. Heck, you won't even notice the one degree. Global warming may be real, but its advertised effects are pure fiction.

  6. the earth will be different than ever, ther will be no difference betwenn earth and its neighboring planet, mercury. imagine.

but to think that you should do something for the enivronment is a huge step. because this will motivate you to do more.

watch AIT(an inconvenient truth) or the 11th hour

research for things or tips that will make you a less impact on the planet.

join organisations like me i'm a member of a NGO here.

  7. The Earth is and will continue to be just fine.  Don't fall for the Al Gore nonsense.

Certainly, be concerned about air and water pollution.... etc. and try to do your part in those areas.  There's nothing wrong with that.

  8. YEAH you should be and stupid bush isn't doing ANYTHING about it. read http://www.epa.gov/climatechange/basicin...

  9. The alarmist have been predicting we are about to run out of natural resources and have all kinds of environmental disasters for over a hundred years.

When I was a kid, alarmists were saying things like "The Amazon jungles are the lungs of the world and are being destroyed at an alarming rate.  When they are gone the Earth will die".  This global warming alarmism is a new spin on an old theme.

In 10 or 20 years time, you will see that the alarmists have been crying wolf on this issue.

  10. I don't know but I'm scared too : ( I guess the only thing that you can do to help the earth is to "go green" (try buying products that will benefit the environment.)  Also, recycle when possible, and pick up litter when you see it.

  11. "the earth will be different than ever, ther will be no difference betwenn earth and its neighboring planet, mercury. imagine."

What a load of c**p. I don't even think that is possible....wait, magic!

Anyhow, don't listen to zildjian--it is quite apparent that he knows nothing about the climate, global warming, economics, math, science, common sense, thought, etc...

  12. ya you should take care to prevent global warming..here are 20 ways to prevent it :

    Step

1   Drive less. Take bikes, walk or carpool whenever possible.

    Step

2   Consider investing in a hybrid or electric vehicle to help prevent against further global warming.

    Step

3   Replace all the lightbulbs in and around your home with energy-efficient fluorescents that use fewer watts for the same amount of light.

    Step

4   Clean or replace your filters monthly.

    Step

5   Choose energy-efficient appliances when it's time to buy new ones.

    Step

    6    Decrease your air travel.

    Step

7   Wash clothes in cold water and line-dry whenever possible.

    Step

8   Use a low-flow showerhead, which will lessen the hot water used but not drop your water pressure in the shower.

    Step

9   Cut down on your garbage—buy fewer packaged materials to prevent further global warming.

    Step

10   Unplug electronics when they are not in use, because they still take up energy. At the very least, turn items off when they’re not being used.

    Step

11   Run the dishwasher and clothes washer only when you have a full load, and if available, use the energy-saving setting.

    Step

12   Insulate your home better, and don’t forget to repair or replace worn caulking or weather-stripping. Insulate your water heater.

    Step

13  Buy recycled paper products and recycle as much of your waste as possible.

    Step

14  Bring your own reusable canvas grocery bags when grocery shopping.

    Step

    15  Plant a tree.

    Step

16  Have an energy audit done on your home so you can find the trouble areas and fix them.

    Step

    17  Use nontoxic cleaning products.

    Step

18  Shop locally for food. A farmer’s market is an excellent place to visit. And choose fresh food over frozen foods. Fresh takes less energy to produce.

    Step

19  Keep your car tuned up, and check tire pressure often to save gas.

    Step

20   Eat less meat and more organic foods in your diet to do your part in preventing global warming.

  13. The most significant thing that can help heal the earth may be to increase the amount of CO2 being absorbed by earth's plant life. This may not be entirely an individual project.

To allow earth's plants to absorb a lot more CO2, those plants need to have enough water. We can make a desert into a tropical rain forest with just more water.  But we do not need to make it a forest, we can grow anything. All plants need water to convert CO2 into sugars, starches, proteins, oils.

So, spread the burning sand with water, cool cool water. We need to conserve water, in the sense of storing it when we have rain or snow that would run off to the oceans. we do not need to conserve water in the sense of not watering the plants. Our shortage of water comes from global warming, and we need to absorb CO2 to control that.

This is a political problem. Those who pay to water plants will not have any more reward than the person who hordes all the water and gives the plants none. How do we deal with that?
