Question:

What will the global warming doomsayers say if we get a 3rd straight mild hurricane season?

Every year since the Katrina year of 2005, we've been finger wagged by the annointed global warming hysterics that we would have a bad hurricane season, of course all do to man. We had two peaceful years in a row, and another prediction this year of a big, bad hurricane season. If we get another mild one, will the global warming hysterics calm down or simply dig in deeper and attack the correct skeptics some more by equating them with n***s?

  1. I'm still trying to figure out how they can say that my kidney stones are caused by this global warming especially sense they're mostly made of calcium.

Don't worry, they are just another conspiracy group looking for something more to complain about.  In the words of Forrest Gump, "Stupid is as stupid does".

  2. They won't calm down, they'll find some other way to make you worry about global warming and fork over your cash.

I find it curious that they can state as a fact what the climate changes will be 100 years into the future, but can't accurately predict whether or not we have a bad hurricane season this year or next?

Don't get me started on New Orleans.

  3. Well, I live in southeast Louisiana about 55 miles sw of NOLA. I am hoping that they are wrong again, of course. But, the Meteorologist that I watch most of all from New Orleans is Bob Breck on local Fox and he said after Katrina that he was not agreeing with the ones that were predicting bad seasons. He said around February of 2006 that he did some research and that certain patterns showed 06 would be very mild. It was. He said the same thing for 07. It was. I think he is saying we may have a few more storms than last year, but that he thinks our area will be spared. We shall see!!

  4. They'll say that severe weather goes in cycles.

  5. Actually, I recall we had quite a few hurricanes last year.  They just stayed out in the Atlantic instead of making landfall in the US.

  6. In order to understand the hurrican business you first have to understand how the ocean works in relation to the climate.  That's a difficult business already.  Next, you have to understand that even though hurricane Kathrina was a monster hurricane, she was a category 5.  Hurricane Andrews was a category five---I lived through a category four which was bad enough.  The bottom line is that we are risking to lose our environment if we do nothing and that global warming is a factor in the weather business.  I can very well recall that when I was a child, the river where I grew up grew ice so thick that we all went ice skating on it---and that by the time I was 10 or 11 years the river never froze that thick again--by the time I was a young adult it didn't even freeze no longer---it gets warmer and warmer in Canada, they reported a huge mosquito problem because it doesn't get cold enough no more, even in Russia it doesn't get cold as it used to no longer---and now the ice at the northpole and southpole are melting at a much faster rate than anticipated.  Even those who say that global warming doesn't exist fail to bring a rational reason for this to happen.  The earth went throug heating and cooling periods before---but with the gasses that pllute our air(from industry and cars) this process of cooling or heating is either acclerated or thrown out of whack--just look at our weather and tell me that there is no truth to global warming---and it does affect the hurricane season in a positive or negative way, even though we never know which way it will be...

  7. Of course you are correct, but they will find a way to explain it away.

  8. Wait until next year.  Eventually they'll be right.

  9. Um,maybe they will all donate millions more to the hypocrite Gore to save the planet?
