I've got straight blonde hair, blue eyes, fair skin. My blonde hair didn't turn dirty blonde/light brown until teenage years. He's got black hair, round (not asian) brown eyes and dark skin. What are the chances I'm going to have a girl that will look like me?

  1. It will look a tan asian kid with white eyes, chances of getting blue eyes however are unlikely.

  2. Not too great. Blondness is a recessive trait. Your kid will likely look similar to me (blond mother 1/2 Asian father mix).

  3. check out leah dizon and misa campo, both born to filipino fathers and caucasian mothers. both of them are wayy gorgeous :) and leah has green/hazel eyes, so it seems she picked up the recessive caucasian eye-color.

(by the way, they both did some import modelling in the past so some of the pictures might not be too safe for work, if you know what i mean)

  4. not much at all

    actually, none

    all his traits are dominate

if the chances where good i'd look like my momma.

i'd be fair skinned with blonde hair and blue eyes,

    but noooo

    im black, like my papa.

  5. caucasian blood often is dominant if paired with asians. but i tell you you would certainly good looking offspring. kb

  6. Blonde hair and blue eyes are recessive traits, while black hair and brown eyes tend to be dominant. I'm sorry, but the chances of a daughter looking like you in general appearance is not possible. As a baby, she may have light brown hair and bluish eyes and light skin but it will get darker as she grows.

But don't worry, I have never met an ugly half-white, half-Filipino (I'm Filipino who's lived in the Philippines and US). They're all gorgeous.

  7. Daamn!

    Half Filipino's are always attractive!

lmao but i think it'll probably look like they are Portuguese.. lol

that's how some of my mixed friends look like. like Vanessa hudgens.. they'll kinda look spanish.

  8. I would say the likelihood isn't too high, since his traits are dominant in comparison to your traits.

Blonde hair, blue eyes are recessive when compared to black hair and brown eyes.  I believe the skin color trait is neither recessive or dominant, rather its an inbetween color between both parents.

Although, in special cases, your children receive your traits in varying combinations of genotypes :)

  9. If you want a Caucasian-looking baby, you chose the wrong man. This doesn't make sense. I would never have a baby with an Asian guy, if I wanted them to look so much like me. It'll probably end up looking more Filipino than Caucasian.

  10. does it matter? all kids are beautiful.it doesnt matter what race, they are not a trophy to put on your arm.

  11. you never know

    im half japanese & black

people usually think im black & white tho

  12. it will look like ME!!  I'm half white half filipino.  My dad (caucasian) is dirty blonde with crystal blue eyes and light skin.  My mom (filipina) has black, thin but curly hair and dark brown eyes, her complexion is tanned.  My dad is tall and husky and my mom is very petite.  I have my mom's height and physique, my dad's fair complexion, my hair is thin and dark like my mom's but straight as an arrow like my dad's.  (I can never get any volume argh!!)  I have freckles and for some reason my eyes are green...i guess that came from my dad's side because no one in my mom's family had green eyes lol.  I don't know your chances of a boy/girl but it will most likely look more white than filipino - i have lots of friends that are half/half like me and we all have light complexions (except for one of us).  none of us ended up with blonde hair or blue eyes though - those are recessive genes.  Your baby will come out beautiful though no matter what because it is YOUR baby.
