What will the last tree on earth be used for?

When the last tree is cut down, what do u think it will be used for?

Short of a nuclear winter or other catastrophic geological event, like a giant asteroid strike, it's highly unlikely all trees will ever disappear completely. Man is starting to learn about conservation, and I don't think we'll be dumb enough to cut every single one of them down without replacing them afterwards with seedlings.

Trees have been around for a long time before humans appeared, and they'll be around for long after we're gone. We need trees and plants much, much more than they need us.

I think then the Earth would be so over-populated, everything would probably be cleared for humans to live.  The tree would probably be cut down to build something, a parking lot, a house,  anything.  

This is a very unique question!  In the future they'll probably have the technology to eliminate the need for plants.  Maybe they'll invent some carbon-ingesting oxygen-spewing machines and put them on every block instead of trees.  Kind of cynical, I know...

it won't be cut down. and if that eventually happens it is to soon to tell what it will be used for. but by then, it will not be needed
