Look for "The Flake" Ray Emery to land there for a session or three... They'll gamble on him for a short stay, and keep him on a short leash, or else the OPP will own his hide..

And he could even steal the Number One job - would be typical Maple Leaf "jam"...

The Toronto Maple Leafs won't do anything with their goalie situation. They already have it planned out, they are going to do what they did last year and play Vesa Toskala. I hope they get rid of Andrew Raycroft!

toskala is a good goalie & i know that cuz he used to play on the sharks..i don't really know too muchh about there back-up goalie but if he's not any good, they should try to get someone else but if he is good then they should keep him.

Toskala is the starter; Raycroft deserves a much better fate than the likely buyout/demotion that's coming (unfortunately their defencemen last year were just brutal).  If the team is going young, then my guess would be that they have to take a long look at Pogge during training camp.  Not sure about Clemmensen.  

I'm biased in that I met "Razor" at an event a couple years ago, and really came away impressed with him; good guy, solid head on his shoulders...I hoped he was the answer, but it just didn't work out.  If he gets bought out I hope he lands somewhere as a backup.

Doesn't seem like their going to do anything... Toskala's playing good so you know Ron Wilson is not going to change anything, and as far as Justin Pogge hes probably going to stay with the marlies, and even if he gets called up he'll probably just have a backup role to Toskala..

the situation is toskala is GOOD.

raycroft sucks, so the only situation is how can we get rid of him? i dont know...yay toskala.

Maybe they should buy out Raycroft and he and Emery can get a place together in Miami and they can both play for the Panthers.

seeing as how were talking about the leafs they will run with toskala for about 5 years or so untill he gets blamed for not winning the cup. They will trade pogge to another team at the deadline for a rental player that will leave after the season is over as for raycroft hopefully they can get rid of him and find a vetrin goalie as backup  

what they should do is get rid of raycroft and run with toskala and pogge  play whoever is hoter  then if pogge is ready to take over trade toskala

Raser has been put on waivers this morning. If he isn't claimed he will be offered a chance to play for the Marlies. With the Marlies he will be able to hone his skills and be back to the NHL before the end of next year. Rogge will play another year in the A and then will come to the Leafs next year. Look for Cujo to come back to Toronto as a mentor and backup to Vesa.
