Question:

What will the left do now to further the guilt of "racism"?

Obama's "I don't look like the other Presidents" comment backfired on him for bringing up race and now the Denver boys aren't being charged with trying to assasinate Obama because now it seems there isn't any provable intent.

What's next, maybe a cross burning in his front yard? (if you can get past all the security and drag it up the mile long driveway to their mansion) Maybe he should just come right out and say "The only possible reason you wouldn't vote for me is that I'm black and you're racist because I am the Savior. Who wouldn't vote for Him?"

These racism accusations are wearing thin to say the least...

  1. Well, looks like 'closet  racists' are coming out of their closets. Start with hate speeches and end up with killing people. That is called republican party in action.

  2. The problem is that accusing somebody of being a racist is not something that should be done casually because genuine and real racism [as opposed to perceived] is by no means a casual thing.

The real danger is that if the word racism is used casually for many situations that it does not properly fit then the true power of it's meaning will be lost and when it is heard again nobody will pay attention to it.

If you read some of the answers that Obama's supporters give on this site you will come away with the distinct impression that they use the word racism far too casually and thus do  a great disservice to their candidate and the cause that made his candidacy possible.

  3. he thinks he can use racism as a guilt tool, but it is going to backfire BIG TIME, white america is beyond fed up with hearing about racism constantly.Even the majorityof whites who aren't racist, are tired of it and turned off.

  4. Who knows, but you can believe they aren't done with it if they think they can get any benefit from it.  I think Americans for the most part are tired of hearing it, and when someone on Obama's behalf claims racism, it's sort of like the old story about the boy who cried wolf.  Too bad for him, because this is a legitimate claim.  There are many in this country who will not vote Obama for just that reason.

Edit~I offer no opinion, just the facts.  The polls consistently show 90% + of the Black population will vote for Obama because he's black.

There is also a bloc of voters in this country (in both parties) who will not vote for him, becuase of his race.

Obama can't have one group without the other.   Racism cuts both ways-he can't simply choose to use it when it benefits him and then turn it off.

  5. Ok... they are wearing thin.

So why did you bring it up????

  6. That doesn't work with me...I live in the South...if I am not racist and you call me racist when you can't get your way, I will agree with you...then what?
