What will the next sony/nintendo handheld gaming console be?

Does anyone know what the next sony/nintendo handheld gaming console will be?

The Sony PSP and the Nintendo DS have been on the market for a while now and they've both made "slim" and "lite" editions. They've been out for about 4 years now and I can see there is going to be a new handeld console coming out soon. I've heard "PSP2" but i'm not quite sure yet.

If you know anything could you please tell me some details and maybe what they can do?

I answered another question about this and I said that there was going to be a PSP-2 out but I wasn't too sure. Then someone corrected me and said they didn't know why I was a Top Contributor because supposedly the PSP-2 is the PSP Slim & Lite and they also said the next one would be the PSP-3000 which I think is a load of rubbish.

There were rumors about a new handheld Nintendo system but I'm not going to give out wrong information, here.

It's too soon for a psp2 but if a new handheld comes out you can bet all your money its going to be the succesor to the DS
