  1. DEAD!!

  2. I don't know and I don't care

  3. It's spectacular to see what even a 1% annual population growth rate would do in a mere 2200 years, treating it as a compound interest problem --- but of course human population doesn't really grow like this. There are lots of fluctuations caused by relative prosperity vs. the toll of pestilence, famine, war, and periodic breakdowns in the fabric of cultures.

If world population could, in theory, continue to grow for ten thousand years as it has since 1650, maybe the number would approach 10^44. It's absurd, and what is certain is that "limiting factors" are going to dramatically change the picture within a short span of generations.

Pundits have suggested that population might level out at 10 to 12 billion before the close of the 21st century. Such a world might make that of the present day look quite idyllic in comparison.

A world of more like 300 million people would be a better goal, where resources could guarantee a prosperous and potentially fulfilling life for each and every human being. Hopefully we would come to that by voluntary and peaceful planning.

Space travel is not going to conceivably open new frontiers for more than a small number of highly-skilled explorers. Mars is no Australia; vast resources will be expended in settling even a single colony there, barring completely "blue sky" technological breakthroughs. Poor humankind... we need a basket of miracles and best start doing more than merely hoping or praying for them.

  4. 12 billion

  5. 4

  6. well, on average we are going up by like a billion people every 12-14 years. If we kept going at that rate,  our world population will be over 700 billion after the period of 10 000 years. Of course thats unlikely to happen cause the human race would run out of supplies and die out before they reach that number. But then again in the next 10 000 years we would have advanced so much in the area of space exploration that the human race would probably be spread out throughout our solar system and maybe even the universe. So if the human race even existed in that time they wouldnt be living on earth cause all the natural sources would have run out long before.

  7. 0 the sun is gonna lose it's helium then we don't have any energy and can't live.

  8. more than today i think hehehe

  9. By then we will have used up all natural resorces, recycled every piece of steel buried in landfill and gone back to knives made of stone. Before then, the population will have exploded to such an extent that at least 90% of the world population of animals and people will have died off after ruining most of the land surface with erosion due to deforestation and bad cultivation. The third world will extend over the whole globe and civilisation will collapse. When that happens all diseases will run riot, especially when some half educated savages modify existing plagues to wipe out their enemies, and themselves. When people run out of food they will start wars to steal other's, everybody will have nukes. Just think of the middle east, and india and pakistan and how they hate each other now. When some clown pulls the trigger we will all suffer. The uk will suffer more than most; by the end of this century this will be the most overcrowded piece of the third world in this hemisphere. We cannot feed ourselves, and we have no skills any more to pay our way in the world with hi-tech products as once we did. We will only have more than a hundred million useless ignorant mouths and chaos.
