  1. It is so cold, if you are from Hawaii you will wish you where home.

I live in NV and had to wear my ski outfit one January in Hungary, lucky for me we were living in the countryside where I could get away with it.

I bought a fur hat and even thoguh I am against wearing fur, I was thinking of buying a fur coat.

It is much cheaper to travel then but most things are closed for the winter and it is gray and depressing.

  2. In Jan it is gonna be hot bring shorts

  3. It is now summer in Germany but like everywhere else around the world it's a bit crazy.  Jan can be a very miserable month, wet, cold, freezing.  I live in central germany not far from Frankfurt, I'm american.  In the last few years we have experienced very mild winters, snow in the spring and uncomfortable coolness in the summer.  This year at least we are having a few warm days and more sunshine.  The weather in Europe is like the midwest states but not as many Tornado's.  We have them just not as dramatic as the states. Our seasons are the same as the states for the most part.  I see you're from Hawaii I guess no comparison to your weather.  Europe can be a very nice place in the spring and summer when there's good weather.  In the northern part of Germany by Hamburg in winter it's a lot wetter and more wind due to it being located between the North Sea and East Sea.  It's also very cold.  In the south along the Alps it usually snows, again it's up to the global warming situation.  Hope it's enough information to help.

  4. Summer?  hehehehe

Do you know where Europe is?  it is in teh Northern Hemisphere, just like North America, which means they have the same seasons we do.

It will be cold in January.

Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere and has seasons opposite of us.

  5. Are you mad? January is the wettest, windiest, coldest, mean month in the year for the majority of Europe.

  6. Almost all of Europe gets cold in the winter.  Only the southern parts of Portugal, Spain, France, and Italy have mild weather in the winter.  The Mediterranean gets cold in the winter, but most of the areas that border it can be pleasant at that time of year as long as you plan on sightseeing and not beaches.
