Depends on who is elected this upcoming November.  Out of any election in the last 100 years, this upcoming one has the most dramatic effect on the next 100 years.  Economy, foreign affairs, domestic rehabilitation.

Since they haven't quite got around to inventing a time travel machine I will just have to take a stab at guessing the answer :)

The significant changes or advancements will be in technology.  In particular how we communicate, how we work, get to work, collect information, and are schooled.  I predict it will be for the better too.  The era of privacy will virtually be gone, everything and everyone will be recognizable with either a chip or video scan.  There will be no where you go publicly that you won't get recorded or viewed electronically.  I call it the electronic footprint era.  

The environment will be a more serious consideration although it will still be on the back burner even a hundred years from now.  The only significant difference will be garbage.  The production of paper, plastic, and all that packaging will get addressed just for the sake of no where to put the garbage anymore.  Oxygen, or lack of healthy quality air will be a big influence on changing industry.  It will be either, the industry cleans up or we will all have oxygen air tanks for bad driving days or bad air quality days and it will be as casual an act as like when we carry Tylenol now in our bags.  That's all I can think of for now.
