  1. manny  Indians

    Maddux  Cubs

    Clemens Red Sox

    Martinez Red Sox

  2. Manny-Dodger

    Maddux-Dodger

    Clemens-Houston

    Martinez-Dodger

  3. Manny - Definitely with the Red Sox, 8 years, two world championships

Greg Maddux - Brave, not even sure why this is up for discussion, 11 years, 192 wins, all of 5 of his Cy Youngs, his only World Series

Roger Clemens - he will go in as a Red Sox and rightfully so, but he wants to go in as a Yankee

Pedro - definitely Boston, best years were in Boston, once again not sure why you have him here

  4. Ramirez: Red Sox.

    Maddux: Braves.

Clemens: He says he wants to go in as a Yankee, but if he does go, it'll probably be as a Red Sox because he had most of his individual success in Boston and spent more time there.

    Martinez: Red Sox.

  5. Manny--should go as a Red Sox player but could go as an Indian

Maddux will go in as a Brave

Clemens (if he gets in) should go as a Red Sox player but has said he wants to go in as a Yankee...

Pedro will go in as a Red Sox player...

  6. Manny - You would think Red Sox,I think that's what more people know him as.

Maddux - I'm thinking he would go in as a Brave.I think he had a more accomplished career with them.If not as a Brave, then as a Cub.

Clemens -Red Sox.He had 192 career wins as a Red Sock, and only 69 as a Yankee.

Martinez - Red Sox.He won 2 Cy Young Awards with them, helped the Red Sox win the American League Wild Card in '04 and pitched effectively in the playoffs, finished second in AL strikeouts in 2004,record was 14-4 in 2003,he's just accomplished more with the Red Sox than he will with the Mets.(Although I know he got his 3,000th K last year with Mets, still thinking the Sox)

  7. As of today if they make it in

    Manny: Red Sox

    Greg: Brave

    Roger: Yankee

    Pedro: Red Sox

  8. Manny- Red Sox because they won the World Series

Maddux-Braves because he had the most success there

Clemens- None of the above. He is with Pete Rose now

Martinez- If he gets in Red Sox. He really does not have HOF numbers

  9. Manny has seven years with Boston and Cleveland.  Currently he would probably go as a Red Sox because he won 2 WS there.

Maddux has most of his productive years with the Braves and he won a WS there too.

Roger will go to Boston based on the current rules for the HOF.  He has played there over half of his career there.  Interesting note: He is tied with Cy Young for the most victories in Boston at 192.  They should let him pick b/c he won championships with NY in 99 00 also.

Pedro will go as a Red Sox because he played 7 years there and had over half of his victories there.  He also has the best winning percentage in Boston history. 1 WS title in Boston.

  10. Manny-most likely as a Red Sox player (2 rings, most of his career accomplishments with them)

Maddux-Braves because of his penants and tenure (11 straight seasons and best numbers posted in ATL)

Clemens-Red Sox cap (this was the most obvious to me)

Pedro-as much as he should go in with an Expos cap because he became a great player there, most likely the Red Sox---7 seasons of good pitching and a ring there

  11. manny-red sox(2 world championships)

maddux-brave(most of his 300+ wins, cy young awards happened in atlanta, plus he won his world series there)

clemens-yankee(he has to much bad blood with the sox)

pedro-red sox(he had his best years in bean town)

  12. Manny: Indians or Dodgers

    Maddux: Braves

    Clemens: Yankees

    Pedro - Red Sox

  13. Manny- Red Sox

    Maddux- Braves

Clemens- Unless he is found innocent it won"t matter he wont have to decide

    Pedro- Who knows?

  14. Manny - No doubt it will be the Red Sox

    Maddux - Absolutely the Braves

Clemens - Has already told Cooperstown that if he doesn't go in as a Yankee he will refuse induction.

Martinez - Probably a Red Sox

  15. Manny Ramirez- Red Sox because he won 2 World Series there after Boston had none in 86 years.

Greg Maddux- Braves because he was the most dominant pitcher of his era in his Braves run which included 194 wins in 11 seasons and two seasons with sub 2.00 ERA's (1.56 in 1994 and 1.63 in 1995).

Roger Clemens- Yankee because he won the World Series there but it should be the Red Sox where he holds several career records including 192 wins.  Statistically it should be the team you left off, the Blue Jays.  In two seasons he was 41-13 with 563 strikeouts in 498.2 innings with a 2.33 ERA and 2 Cy Young Awards.

Pedro Martinez- Red Sox because he helped break the curse in 2004 and in his Sox career he became one of the most dominating pitchers of all time.

    *EDIT

Note to the Mick #7, stop being so high on the Yankees.  If Clemens even gets elected and they tell him he needs to wear a d**n needle on his hat he'll say yes to get in the Hall.  I dare him to refuse induction after all the garbage he put fans through the last year with his blatant lies about being a cheater his entire career in your beloved pinstripes.

  16. Manny - Red Sox

    Greg Maddux - Braves

    Roger Clemens - Red Sox

    Pedro Martinez - Red Sox

I think these are all very clear since each of these players greatest accomplishments and most productive periods were spent with the teams listed.

As an aside, Clemens has no say in whether he's inducted into the Hall. If he refuses to show up at the ceremony because there's a Red Sox cap on his plaque instead of a Yankee cap, that's his choice. The fact remains, he was a far superior pitcher for the Sox than the Yankees - about 110 wins better. It isn't even close. The Hall of Fame doesn't exist to do what Roger Clemens or any other player wants. If he can't put his enormous, pouty ego aside that's his problem.
