What will tweeters do?

Question

What will Tweeters do to the sound I hear through my car audio system? I am sure I sound like I am sounding clueless, but I am trying to figure out what different stuff does.

its for the  high tones like how subwoofers are for low tones

tweeters r ur highs, regular door speakers r ur mids, and subs r ur lows....  the tweeters can blow ur ears quicker do to the high pitched sound
