  1. We enjoy swimming, skating, and lots of things.  And toward the end of summer, I am going to help them with reviewing some Math and English, so that I don't DIE with home work next year.

  2. I am in elementry and i will be going to 5 camps, going swimming, hanging out with friends, computre, going to the zoo, going to science center, going to my grandmas once a week. I hope this helped!

  3. Girl Scout day and sleepaway camp, Asthma camp, parks & rec program, small vacations, and visits to family members.

  4. Summer camps and babysitters.

Just kidding!!  :)  We will set up the pool tomorrow.  The library usually has summer programs.  Lots of fun stuff to do there.  Barnes and Noble also usually has a summer reading program (for that you just fill out a form then I think you get a free book after filling out the form).

AMC theaters have special $1 movies scheduled throughout the summer.  (It's not usually the new ones, it's older ones.  Last year they had Shrek 3 and Spongebob as examples)

Micheals offers kids crafts.  They do projects in store and you can sign up online.

We have a local resale shop offering crafts during the summer starting with Father's Day Cards the Saturday before Dad's Day.  So check your local kids stores for ideas or activities through the summer.

Trips to the park, Busch Gardens, the local aquarium, playdates with school friends, a BIG birthday party for my 2 oldest.  If it helps schedule events throughout the summer.  It will give all of you things to look forward to and it will help make sure you all don't get bored.  And I don't mean schedule big events.  I mean schedule "coloring day" and "pajama day" and "swimming/sprinkler day" and "pirate day (or princess day)".  Hope this helps!  Enjoy your summer!

  5. Well, my stepdad is taking my brothr and I to Texas, Flordida, Or Washington. Traveling is alwasy fun! BTW: we are going to, two of the three states. aNd my ma plans on taking us to Lagoon (amusement park) and have fun. Sleepovers, seeing moveis every weekend, stuff like that. Keep them entertaines.

  6. 2 weeks of day camp, a few long weekend trips, camping in the back yard, sleepovers with friends, swim lessons and free time at the pool, roller blading, biking, playing piano, reading a ton of books, going to some concerts, some cooking projects, lots of play dates and trips to the playground and playing in the sprinkler, and pretty much whatever they feel like doing (generally they're so brimming with ideas about how to spend a day that I'm better off letting them lead the way.  if past history is any guilde, one day they'll design a circus; one day a treasure hunt; one day a puppet show; one day a nature walk; one day an olympics, one day a science fair; one day a domino track the size of the living room ... etc.)

I'm a huge fan of relaxed summers, but they certainly do keep busy even though there's not a lot of structured time.

  7. considering the cost of gas lately, we will be doing a lot more local things this year.  I love to spend time at the library and it benefits the kids so much to be surrounded by books and stories and it benefits me to be surrounded by the quiet :-)  One thing you might consider is ordering a packet of MaKit plate products and creating plates. It is a fun tradition that we have done for 4 years now. THey love to create a new plate every year and by the time they leave for collage they will have 18 fun "memory plates" to start off with.

  8. The zoo, the YMCA, and the park.  Also a trip to the aquarium.
