A long time ago 300 Spartans stood in the gap against a massive army and showed the world their courage. Now it's your turn...

Join thousands of others across our land during the week of September 24th to express your right to FREE SPEECH and RELIGIOUS FREEDOM. Stand in the gap. Wear a bandanna of your making around your wrist, on your head, on your ankle, in your pocket, around your neck... Anywhere.

Here are some ideas to print on a light colored T-shirt:

'Jesus is the only faultless friend you'll ever have!'

'Hold on to Jesus; He's holding on to you!'

'Our sin is great-- God's grace is greater!'

'The Lord is all I need, I can depend on Him!'

'Dare to be different-- for the Father's sake!'

  1. ill be wearing a shirt with an inverted pentagram to show my love towards lord lucifer.

a pentagram on a bandanna to show my appreciation towards my pagan forefathers.

and most likely i will try and start religious debates in all my classes.

    Sincerely,

    Luzifer

  2. I'm putting a Flying Spaghetti Monster emblem on the back of my pickup truck.

Edit:  You I is correct.  The 300 Spartans were homosexuals.  They also worshipped Zeus.

  3. How funny you would use the example of the Spartans, who were pagans, to exemplify your belief system of Christianity.  Especially since Christians nearly wiped out all paganism through death... is that ironic, hypocritical, or perhaps both...

  4. Hallelujah!  I'm always ready for the Lord.

    Ephesians 6:11

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

    GOD BLESS!  AMEN!   SHALOM!

  5. As others have said, a Flying Spaghetti Monster t-shirt is in order.

Or perhaps a Jedi cloak ...

  6. I don't like to sound snarky, but I think you should get a broader idea of what "religious freedom" means. I agree with both VC and UP. I know if there is to be true freedom of speech and choice of spiritual belief in operation, I need to defend others rights to any belief system of their choice, (as long as it does not harm others in any way,) as well as the right to voice their opinion that there is no God. I am a dedicated Christian who is appreciative of the rights afforded me and others in the country in which I live. Do you think this question is at all persuasive to anyone to become a Christian?

Edit: I would be honored to help VC cover those hard to reach places. Sunburn sucks and can lead to cancer, and I know he will need help with his back, not any body part that would make me blush.   :=)

  7. Absolutley nothing. I hope its warm and sunny that week!

*edit* My answer is a serious answer. If you want to express your right for religious freedom, then I have to assume that you respect my right for freedom from religion. Now, if you don't mind, could you help me get this sunblock on the spots I can't reach?

  8. .....you plan what you're gonna wear a month in advanced??????

  9. yes, I'll wear an ATHEIST shirt.

  10. You do know the 300 Spartans were notorious for their homosexuality, right?
