  1. Pay more taxes and for gas, and for everything, probably have to get a second job, close up my business, and learn to pass the time in long lines for doctors and other services

  2. Nothing different that what I do every day. I didn't vote for the "winning" candidate the last two times and although I survived it, the country has suffered.

  3. Pray.

"Forgive them Lord for they know not what they do."

  4. Diversify my assets to avoid the tax hike and hope we don't "talk" our way into compromises with threatening nations!

  5. Since I'm voting for a third party candidate, I already know he's not going to win.  Nonetheless, I will have done my civic duty and voted for the individual I think will do the best job.

So, regardless of whether McCain or Obama wins, I will just sit back and hope that they don't continue down the path of destruction that the Republicans and Democrats have taken us.

  6. Get up and go to work.  Is there another choice?

    fs

  7. Same thing I've always done - get on with my life and hope for the best, but prepare for the worst.

  8. Try to figure out how to lower my tax liability and go on about my life.

  9. Wait four years and try again.

  10. Nothing, I'm used to not getting what I want.

  11. I will go to work the next morning, just like I always do. I've voted for many candidates that nave lose, and many that have won. The country is still here, and I still have a job to do.

I may complain more about the person elected, but I will still have the same respect for the office. And if taxes go up, I will pay them. If not, all the better.

  12. Hunker down -

It will be a bad few days followed by 4 disastrous years...

  13. The world won't end.  Life will go on.  The country won't be as well off as I would have hoped, but we will muddle through somehow.  Then, next election I will try to get my candidate elected again (unless the winner does an unexpectedly awesome job.)

  14. I will do what I always do. I will continue to respect and support the office of the President whether I agree with the officeholder or not. Incidentally, I am pretty sure my candidate will not win because I am voting for Bob Barr.

  15. The candidate I vote for probably won't win as I expect I will vote for a third party candidate.  I will be less happy with Obama and I will move all of my money out of my investments and convert them to cash before the end of the year to avoid the tax increase for 2009..

  16. Life as usual but if Obama wins I will be stashing a little extra cash under my mattress.

  17. If Obama wins I'll be drinking Jack Daniels...and lots of it.

  18. Go on with your life. If McSame MIRACULOUSLY wins, then I guess it will the same as it has been for the last 8 years.......or perhaps apocalyptically worse.

But, Obama is miles ahead in the electorate, so I guess I get to walk around with a smile on my face for the next 4 (hopefully 8) years.

  19. IF MCSAME WINS I WILL BE VERY DISAPOINTED BECASUE OF  FIGHTING VERY HARD FOR OBAMA EVERYDAY AND THERE IS A TIME FOR CHANGE AND IF U DOESN'T WIN I WILL PROLLY CRY!
