Many people believe Bush and his administration has caused our economic problems which is partially true. We are in recession 18,000 homes are going into foreclosure everyday. But what makes these times different is that we don't have a currency that is worth some thing on the international level. Many people don't believe this matters but we are also in 13 trillion dollars in debt which means we don't even own our own country. What will you do if the next president can't recover the US economy? If the dollar collapses on the international level the US government won't be able to uphold any value to US dollars. What are some of your ideas for the coming crisis?

  1. i will keep praying...

  2. These times are no different and in fact no where near as bad as it was in the 70's.  The difference today is the agenda in the media and in politics.   When people start whining about what they think are problems today, I have to laugh at them and their short sightedness and just accept them for their ignorance.  For they know not why they whine, they have just been told to by either a politician or a media outlet.

  3. I vote against every incumbent politician.  We need honest people in government.

  4. Eat my dog.

  5. Most realize Congress is more to blame then the President, unless you have no idea how government works!  Just look what they've done in the last 2 years...

  6. Pray.

  7. The sky is not falling! Things will get better! We have been in "far worse" situations in this country and survived. First we must stop Blaming Bush for all this. The Gas problem has been caused by the "Enron Loop hole" This is a law allowing future traders to buy oil that is still in the ground for a deposit of 7.5% while all other comodity traders are required to put up 15% and stock futures reuir 50%. This law was passed in 2000 and signed by Clinton. It was the Bush administration (started in 2001) that brought Eron down but the Loop hole still exists. The Housing crisis was quite predictable in 1999 when Clinton signed legislation to remove much of the financial oversight of the mortage industry and make it easier for people with bad credit to buy homes they could not afford. This includes first time buyer, those moving up and speculators! Now who would believe they could buy a home with  $250,000 mortage with nothing down at 2% interest? Did they not read the contract that said the rate would increase? Well it did and even at 4% it nearly doubled the house payment and now they are in foreclosure. Clinton Removed much of the Govt. regulators power during his term. This gave a short erm economic boost which is now biting our hind quarters! No Bush cannot be blamed for this, Just Congress and Bill Clinton. Now the rest of us will have to bail the fools out! But we will get back on track and we need to put the regulators back in place. "When the Cat is away, the Mice will play" Bring back the cat!

BTW, we need to get rid of he Tree Huggers so we can start becoming "Energy independent" The Environmentalists are the biggest obstructionists of all time! Time for them to go!

  8. If things don't improve, and remain exactly the same, I'll sit here and continue eating fritos.  That's what I've been doing... I see no reason to stop.

If things get worse, I'm going to go build myself one of those supercars like in mad max/road warrior, get a huge Mohawk mullet... and do road battles with the rest of the world, for precious gasoline!

  9. Move to Costa Rica
