What will you do in this Situation?

You are an buisnessman/woman. You are interviewing an applicant. You find out that he did not finish his studies and only finished high school. But he is very talented and skillful. Will you accept him or not? Why or Why not?

I would give him a shot, after all school can't teach life experience

That totally depends on the requirements for the job.  If the job only requires a high school diploma, then I'd continue them in the interview process.  If the job required advanced degrees, they be out the door.

First, ask yourself, why you (business man/woman) think he o she is very talented? Maybe he/she is just good to sell him/herself. You need proof that he/she is very talented.

Second, you need the reasons why he/she didn't finish school. A good reason might be lack of money, but when somebody is really talented, he/she will do anything to finish college. If he/she didn't finish tells you that he/she is probably lazy or doesn't finish what he/she starts, or doesn't get completely committed...that applies to work too.

Third, if the position is not critical or managerial, I might hire this person, if I don't have anybody else, and gave him/her a chance.

In less words, I need more information to decide to hire this person or not.

If you are this talented person, make sure you include in your resume any other goals achieved, they need proof or your talent. Good Luck.

i would accept him, if you think he's going to do well in the job hire him, give him a chance. He should make you proud if he really wants it.

I think! education is not about degrees or rank, its about what you are learning throughout your life . you can be a ranker but it's not necessary u know every thing but there's many cases we see that people don't get the chance to get study but they are skillful only because they are the real student of life!

Now it will depend entirely on what talent or skill he have and what our company need at that time . if it is that then obviously i will accept him!

If you think he is qulified for the job and would do a good job then yes hire him. I didn't finish all my college education but I got a job working in a school as a teacher assistant.
