What will you do with the extra our of sunlight in the evening when the clocks change on the weekend?

Now that I'm retired I shall enjoy the tranquility of working in my garden. I do wonder why we change the clocks as it is  dangerous in winter for schoolchildren walking to school.

Point of order, its not just an extra hour of sunlight, it stays workable to 9pm at height of summer.

Damned - Fuel Prices have risen enormously, Taxation is driving us to the wall and now they're taking away an hours worth of our kip! What is the world coming to? I blame the Government.

Where I live there's no guarantee that they'll be an extra hour of sunlight, more like an extra hour of rain to look forward to.
