I didnt always care for all of the 4 letter words, but I did appreciate his honesty about our 100% corrupt political system, and his refusal to give in to political correctness

  1. I have been very fortunate to witness the entire career of Mr Carlin and if you say that his life meant nothing to you, then you either too young or not well informed on the man's contributions to the entertainment industry! He has done it all... stand up, sit-com, children's shows, adult humor, comedy audio recordings and stage and film. He had the insight to the human psyche and he was bold enough to put it all on the line! Between, Richard Pryor & Lenny Bruce, censorship second guessed it's own ways in associating levels of free speech to the masses and these three men were pushing the envelope constantly and changing the landscape of adult humor. Carlin let them 'make the rules' only to break them within the perameter of the guidelines and he always fraid those edge to a toasty crunch! The stand up routines will go down as legendary film works and the cameos in movies like 1976's "Car Wash" does not do justice to his effrevescent talent. God has finally got a great comedian to make him laugh at his own creation!

  2. I'm just going to miss him - period. It's very disheartening to know that we'll never get a new show from him. He was the best at what he did and I'll miss him.

If there is a God, I am sure there's a lot of fun up in heaven right now.

  3. I'll miss his Earthly-ness and bad, but funny humor!  ( I didn't want to laugh but I couldn't help but laugh) He was "thee conservative of radical-ness."

He would take out the stupid parts of human behavior and ship it to a vague reality; that made you believe him when he portrayed that; everyone was nuts!!

  4. Nothing at all

His geriatric diarrhea of the mouth was some real low IQ comedy.

He was very popular with people with crude taste or no class

  5. He Kept us 'correct' with the Changing Times....!!

  6. he rocked i will miss his comedy style

and its not 4 letter words

    its 7 dirty words

    rip :(

  7. I will miss how much he effected my life. Some people might think it's silly but to me George was SO much more than a comedian. He helped me question this world we live in and whenever I had a rotten day I would pop in one of his specials and feel instantly better. He was a genius who gave us so much more than 7 dirty words. He truly was an amazing man and I will miss him greatly.

  15. He was very down to earth. I loved that about him.

He will be missed by me and many others.

PS. I second the motion that KWF2006 is a moron.

  16. Like it was said above me I will miss the man period. To the wastes of spaces or people that go by the name KWF2006. It shows you really have no clue what your talking about, I give you the fact its your own thoughts and c**p like that. Here is my thoughts Carlin was a genius in the spotlight and away from it. Anyone that says he was low brow or dumb, should really get a cat scan and see if there might be something wrong in their heads. If being a fan of Carlin means I have crude taste and/or no class, then so be it. I defiantly don't want to be lumped in with the people that think other wise.

  17. His wit...I certainly miss George already.

    :-(

  18. His brutal honesty about religion and politics.

    KWF2006 is a moron
