What will your cervix be like if your pregnant?

My cervix is high and really closed.

ive heard this ? quite a lot on here so this month convinced i was pregnant decide to check mine don't  no if i did it right but sounded like yours very far back and totally closed which kind of confirmed my suspension's anyway the next day with first morning urine i got my BFP ya so it could well be good luck hun and let me no xxbaby dustxx

You can't go by cervical position to tell if your pregnant.Last month mine was as high as it could go and closed all month long same position and I wasn't pregnant.Don't let it get your hopes up like i did.

Another things to note, although you should never use this to determine pregnancy, is that your once pregnant, your cervix becomes engorged with blood and it becomes very soft. Chadwicks sign? I could be wrong...but its some sort of "sign" with a name....When you aren't pregnant, your cervix is the firmness of the tip of your nose, and in pregnancy, it changes to about the firmess of your lips or the lope of your ear. Cervical position can not confirm pregnancy. But I do know that at some point in pregnancy the cervix becomes soft like in ovulation. This happens at different times for every woman tho. Sometimes happens before BFP occurs and sometimes not til a couple months along.

Observing your cervical position after ovulation will not provide any clues about whether or not you could be pregnant. Whether or not you are pregnant, the cervix usually returns to a non-fertile position in the two weeks following ovulation.
