my friends drum set i made of 100% ****** and mine is made of 100% poplar what wood is better

  1. Hmm, it's starred out for your friends kit. So I can't answer, but I can say I like Birch or Maple for drum shells. They both have a nice crack to the sound and are durable. Poplar is pretty good too but usually found in entry level kits.
