What woods attracts ladybirds?

I have been told that if I get some wood that attracts them then this will work,I do not wan't to bild a ladybird house,I just need to know the wood.

I don't know about Woods but I do know about Roses...you will notice the presence of ladybirds or ladybird larvae (Stethorus spp.)  The majority of ladybirds are highly beneficial insects which eat  pests like aphids.  Do not use toxic chemicals to get rid of the aphids as this will destroy the ladybirds....so what do you do?  Do nothing.  Better to hose off the worst of the offenders and the ladybird larvae should take care of the rest.  If you must resort to artificial remedies use pyrethrin spray.
